Better Than Sacrifice

Img_2724This silent, simple service
a gentle gift of beauty,
to bloom with quiet purpose
despite going unnoticed.

p.s. yes Mateo, I wrote this, too. and i took the picture! ;-)

p.p.s. these beautiful purple flowers are in full-bloom along an empty field near my home–nobody tends them, waters them, weeds them…but still, they bloom.

    “to bloom with quiet purpose”

Wow. It is all beautiful, but that line really spoke to me.

You’ve stated my life’s goal, in one lovely line of poetry.

    Thanks, Elizabeth.

p.s. How are you feeling? has the pregnancy “blech” hit? Hope all is well.

The flowers, the photo and the poem are beautiful. God definitely gave you some gifts. I’m glad you’re sharing them with us.

How beautiful. Did you say that the Meteo was a English major? Or is he just tapping into the inner poet in all of us? I love spring. I’m sure we get the blossoms blooming a month or two later that you do in CA, but it is such a sign of new life.
Boy, it is so obvious that you two are excited about the “bun.”
    Happy Spring!
