Mom’s On The Couch, Kids Are In The Fridge

You know you’re sick & pregnant when:

1. The oldest gets tired of waiting around for clean laundry and so she does eight loads by herself!

2. The middle child finishes your Pilates DVD work-out after you’ve flopped over in exhaustion.

3. The youngest climbs into the fridge to help himself to a snack.

I’m so glad that your family is picking up the slack for you. This is a good thing. (mommie note: Oldest one knows how to do laundry, youngest can feed himself).
Dawn used Sea-bands for nausea. They are wrist bands that push on an anti-nausea pressure point.
Hope you are up on your feet soon.

Shows how capable everyone is and should be when it’s needed. Glad they are picking up a little of the slack.

Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. The header picture is actually a painting of our family’s homeplace. We don’t own it anymore, but I sure wish we did! My husband and I lived in it briefly during Christmas one year, and took pictures. I plan to change out the header at Christmas with one of the real pictures. Thank you for asking about it.
I have been enjoying your blog, too, and reading back in your posts a ways.
I am so pro-homeschooling that I hope you make the decision to do it. I wish I’d done it sooner with my older girls.
Hopefully the sickness will pass quickly, and you can enjoy that new life growing inside!
    Blessings,
    Karen

I wouldn’t mind having your kind of day — minus the nausea. I feel for you.
