The Book of Jude

Here’s a little book I made for Jude. I’m embarrassed to tell you how long it’s taken me to put this together. With all the exhaustion of pregnancy, I’ve had precious little energy to devote to scrapbooking. But this past weekend I got "the urge" to do something creative and I finally finished it.

    Oh, that is *cute*!
What kind of scissors did you use for the pinking-shears look? Maybe that’s a dumb question. (Maybe you actually used pinking shears? *grin*)

Stacy: not a dumb question, at all! Actually I bought the patterned paper pre-cut in a pack. Then I matted it on cardstock. I Mod-Podge’d the front and back cover for extra durability, added pictures, punched holes for the binding and threaded it with cute ribbon. The little journaling bits are on scraps of various paper that I adhered using a mini-stapler and glue dots. I know you didn’t ask for all that…but there ya go!

Love the great keepsake book! I enjoy scrapbooking very much, but have a hard time keeping up with all of the kids’ books. I am a couple years behind on all of them right now and am hoping to catch up this winter. It is such a fun hobby and the results are so rewarding!
    Great work!

I love scrapbooking also! I am with Teresa, love it but fell behind like 7 years. This winter I plan on catching up. Love the book. That is something he will cherish for a long time.
