the best laid plans…

I feel like a twerp. I was packed. I had printed my ticket. And then….I needed to postpone my trip. So, thanks for your suggestions and prayers–can I just future-date them?

    Dude. I’m never announcing my plans again. This is embarrassing. I’m just going to go on the trip, come back and be all: Look at these awesome photos! Yeah, that’s so much better than eating the bitter morsel of disappointment today. Argh. You know, I should know this by now. ‘Cuz guess what? Instead of going to NYC today, my computer broke down and I’m standing in the Apple Store hoping that I haven’t lost my entire hard drive. INCLUDING MY BOOK! Welcome to my life where things NEVER go according to plan. Sweeeet.
