THE SATURDAY EVENING BLOG POST, vol. 2, issue 3

Welcome to THE SATURDAY EVENING BLOG POST!

This is where bloggers gather on the first of the month to share their latest and greatest blog posts. This month we're featuring posts from FEBRUARY, 2010!

I'll begin by sharing my favorite post: Love Makes Me Feel Like a Good Person. This was such a precious moment I shared with my son and reminded me of the healing power of God's unconditional love. What was also interesting about this post was how controversial it was. I was completely surprised by the response–and thankful for those of you who helped me clarify my thoughts in the comment box. Thank you!

Now it's YOUR TURN!

Here's how to participate:

  1. pick one of YOUR posts from the past month. Insert a link to that specific post (not just your home page) in The Mister Linky form here on my blog.
  2. compose a new post at your site with a link back here so your readers can participate, too. The more the merrier–it's always fun to discover new blogs!

THE SATURDAY EVENING BLOG POST is a celebration of family-friendly art, so please no links to products or giveaways. I'm looking forward to reading your submissions! Enjoy!

Sorry, had to post twice as I put the wrong link first time! It’s too early and I need coffee :)
Thanks for doing this again – I love having the opportunity to look back at what I have written.

Hi, Elizabeth! Thanks again for hosting this link up. =)

I’ve linked one of my last posts from my old blog, which I retired just last month. This will be the last time it will ever get to be in a Saturday Evening Blog Post edition. (This means that my post about the Saturday Evening Blog Post itself is on my new blog. Confusing, I know, but I don’t update the old one anymore!)

I chose one I wrote about Motherhood. Specifically, how it took me four tries to feel everything a new mother is supposed to feel!

Hi! I’m a new reader. Thanks for hosting this meme. It’s a good idea because I think we sometimes pour our hearts into posts that then go on to shrink into oblivion.

For many, many years I was in bondage to fear at night. Last month I wrote how the chains were broken. It’s now been several years and I’m thankful for the peace I now have in the dark hours. Thanks Elizabeth for giving us a place to share!

I really enjoyed all the comments on your Valentine post, I read it before the response so I missed it the first time.

    Thank you, Elizabeth (again) :)

I linked a post reflecting and processing on the “newsworthy” event last month that was a bit close to home.

My dominant blogging gene has recessed, so I haven’t blogged much in Feb. I posted my favorite one, anyway. :) Have a good weekend, EE.

I’ve started a new blog, although I imported most of the posts from my former blog. I’m trying to “find my own voice,” by posting my own insights and experiences from everyday life.

The post I chose for here is a true story that I think of as my own, personal original sin; that is, loss of innocence.

Again, thank you for hosting this monthly event.

Uggh. Can’t type. That should be Best Birthday ParTy. :) My post is mostly fun pictures of a spa party for my daughter I came up with at the last minute. SO FUN! And a great memory. I’m sharing it because I love the pictures, and evidently didn’t write anything thought provoking this month!

I linked to the first post of my love story. I was inspired by some friends to write down our love story, so in honor of Valentine’s Day, I did! :^)

Once again, loving all of the entries! Thanks for hosting us all here, EE.

Thanks for this marvelous idea, Elizabeth.
    I love it.
However, I am a rookie and just put my name rather than the post name … oops.
Off to go check out some links now!

Hi Elizabeth…I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog, which I found via my daughter-in-law’s blog. Thank you for your transparency…very refreshing. Thanks, also, for this opportunity to link to fellow readers. FUN!
