Ok, THAT was my worst nightmare. And also my happiest ending. Like, whaaaat? A plane crashes in the Hudson River and everyone survives? How in the world did that happen? It's too good to be true. But it's TRUE!
So, #1: can I please book every future flight with Capt. "Sully"? But he's probably retiring now. He's probably set for life and won't have to work another day. But still...a girl can dream.
#2: Chivalry lives! The women and children were out first. In 2009. In post-feminist America. Women and children first. Dude. Can you believe this? I'm so happy right now I feel like dropping my hanky in the street just to see if a man picks it up. Not that I carry a hanky.
#3: Best happy news story in a reeeeeally long time. And we totally needed it.
