Hello. My name is Elizabeth Esther.
I'm a mother. A writer. An eater of Mint Milanos.
I write about whatever amuses me. I might offend you. But like I tell my mother: "Come back next week."
Next week I might be your favorite person.
I'm weird like that.
Sometimes I write about growing up inside an abusive fundamentalist church. Which is a nice way of saying I kick ass at Bible Trivia. Or "Name That Hymn."
For awhile, I ditched God. But wow. He's persistent. Now, I love Presbyterians and Catholics, Lutherans and Greek Orthodox. I'm a glutton for complication.
Mostly, I'm a follower of unconditional love.
I believe there are many ways to be a good mother. I share my stories. But my stories are not Gospel. So, do what works for you.
You are welcome to comment. You are welcome to disagree. But if you act like a jerk face, I will delete you. With impunity.
