Are we overprotecting our kids? Even on our playgrounds? I think so. Here's a clip from my TV appearance this morning explaning why: I also appreciated this psychologist's viewpoint on the same topic--if we're not allowing our children to experience risk, they become fearful adults; ie. a new study shows that experiencing a fall before age 9 creates adults who have less phobias and fears. Interesting, yes?
What do you think?
